Our illustrated talks are held in the Public Hall, West Street, Liskeard PL14 6BW, usually on the second Tuesday of the month, at 7 for 7.30pm. They usually end around 9pm.

Refreshments - coffee, tea and biscuits - will be served from 7 pm for a small fee; this gives you a good oppouutnity to meet and chat with fellow members and guests.

All events are also open to your guests and to non-members (paying the £12 talk fee at the door). The advantages of becoming a member is that you will be given advance notice of our full programe, especially its more social aspects; you'll be able to book places for our lunches and optional walks, and for a range of trips to places of interest locally, nationwide and abroad (where it's first come, first served!). The fact of having interests in common and being able to spend time together has resulted in several people making new friends through our society.

In addition, you could join the committee, have an influence on the way the organisation is run, and get to know about a dozen people really quite well.
